Cookie Program Update – Extending Cookie Sale

We understand that the recent storms have made it difficult for many troops to host cookie booth sales. We heard your concerns. In response, we are happy to announce that we are expanding the cookie sales window through March 19th!

We want to support our troops that have inventory to sell and help all troops reach $1 per package proceeds. And we’re very close to reaching that goal! As an example, if every troop selling took an additional three cases from cookie cupboards, troops would benefit from greater proceeds to support their group plans.

To help you reach your sales goals, we have included a few top seller tips to consider:

  • Place a small dry erase board at your booth and list your hourly goal. Keep updating it so customers can see how close you are to reaching your goal.
  • Check your Smart Cookies account to see if customers want to order more cookies. Send e-Cards to friends and family, inviting them to help you reach your goals by ordering Cookie Share online with no shipping costs!
  • One of our stellar sellers shared that she is using her cookie order card to take customers’ orders and will deliver the cookies when she replenishes her cookie inventory.
  • Post pictures (with parent approval) on social media featuring:
    • your booth with your goal tracker and announce where you will be selling cookies
    • enticing ways to eat your favorite cookies

We know that some troops may not want to continue selling cookies through March 19th, and that’s okay. For those who do, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Below are updated dates for the end of the cookie program.
  • March 17 – Start collecting girls’ final balance due to the troop.
  • March 17 – 21 – End of Program Processing
  • March 19 – Cookie Program Ends
  • By March 21 – Final deposits to be made into troop account to cover final payment. Payment Adjustment form submitted, if needed.
  • March 22 by 9:00 AM – Troop final reports due to Service Unit by 9:00 AM.
  • March 23 – ACH of final troop payment to council begins.

 It’s time to attend Cookie University! 
Girls will hear from some incredible women in business, talk with industry professionals, and complete hands on interactive activities focused on important workforce development skills –such as creating a resume, figuring out a budget and writing a personal statement. On top of all this, girls will also earn a Cookie Business badge!

This event accepts Cookie Dough, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full.  Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.

Troop Cookie Chat – Cookie Initial Order Support 

Is your troop ready to place their initial cookie order? Need some help to determine the troop’s initial order? We are here for you! Reminder: Troop initial cookie orders are due in ABC Smart Cookies by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.   

Place Your Initial Order Before December 13, 2022!

The only way to GURANTEE having the cookies you want is to place an initial order. Starting December 1 Troops can start placing their Initial Orders.

Troops who commit their Initial Order and meet all other Troop Initial Order Bonus Requirements by December 13, 2022 will earn a Cookie Genius Patch Pin, Stellar Seller packet, and more!

Important! Troop Cookie Initial Orders Due on December 13, 2022

Submit your Troop’s initial cookie order by 11:59 pm on December 13th and meet the Initial Order Bonus requirements to earn a Steller Seller kit, Cookie Genius Patch Pin, and more for each girl in your troop!

The “Troop Initial Order” feature will go live on December 1, 2022 and pick up time selection is on a first come, first served basis at the time of order.

2023 Girl Scout Cookie Kickoff Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for Parent/Daughter, troops or groups of Cadette, Senior and/or Ambassador Girl Scouts to help plan and run stations at the 2023 Cookie Kickoff. We need girls who want to share their excitement and knowledge about the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in activity stations and other kickoff fun!

Join sister Girl Scouts at the cookie rally to kickoff on a great cookie season on Sunday, January 8, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the GSOC Irvine Office. Learn about the Girl Scout Cookie Program; discover new and proven cookie selling techniques, taste test the cookies and more! The Cookie Kickoff is for everyone: Juliettes, troops, leaders, families, parent/girl teams, and volunteers.
