Girl Scout Family News Volume 1 – 11/12/25
Welcome to the 2026 Cookie Program! The Cookie Program is a fun, and rewarding experience to help Girl Scout troops earn money while building their financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills.
Girl Scouts of all ages build self-confidence and develop valuable business skills- such as goal setting, money management, and business ethics- while earning badges, patches, and prizes along the way. Many troops use cookie funds to support activities, Take Action projects, and field trips.
Cookie Program Girl Mailing Coming in January
In early January, all girls who are registered for the 2025-2026 Girl Scout Membership year by early December 2025 will receive their own Cookie Program packet with all the essential tools for a successful Cookie Program that includes a cookie order card, a Cookie Family Guide, Girl Rewards flyer, and more! The Girl Scout Cookie Program begins with online selling and preorder taking on January 6, 2026. If your Girl Scout doesn’t receive her packet by January 9, 2026 email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org with the subject line “Girl Cookie Mailing”.

Come and join sister Girl Scouts at the annual Cookie Kickoff to jump start a great cookie season! Learn about the Girl Scout Cookie program, discover new and proven cookie selling techniques, participate in activities and more! The Cookie Kickoff is for everyone! Juliettes will have the opportunity to earn funds to support their favorite Girl Scout activities and participate in parent/daughter booth sales.
How can Juliettes participate in the Cookie Program?
Opt in to the Juliette Cookies Product Program Series: This will add her to the Juliette Cookie Product Program Series roster. Once your Juliette submits her opt-in form, the Council Product Program Team will connect your Juliette with a Juliette Coordinator who will support your Juliette during the Cookie Program.

We are excited to share that our Cookie Program has been extended through March 22. This additional week gives Girl Scouts more time to reach their goals and helps our council meet our package goals while continuing to provide valuable leadership opportunities.

What This Means for the Remaining Days
To help everyone make the most of the extension, several opportunities will be available:
- Motivational goals to keep girls excited and selling
- Consignment cookies available, ask your Troop Cookie Coordinator for more
- Booth sales may be extended
- Cupboards will remain open
- Service Unit Super Booths available during the final weekend

Troop Cookie Share Contest
Did you know Cookie Share is one of the easiest and most meaningful ways for customers to show their support? For just $6, customers can make a donation with no cookies required! It’s a simple way to make a big impact right here in our community!
To celebrate the Girl Scouts who are going the extra mile during this extension, we’re launching a fun Troop Cookie Share Contest with special incentives. Details are below.
- The contest begins at the start of Cookie Encore week on Monday, March 16 and ends Sunday, March 22.
- Troops that sell a minimum of 50 packages of Council Virtual Cookie Share during the Cookie Encore week will be entered into a drawing to win Breakfast with the CEO and includes a special cookie share delivery to local organizations alongside her!
- Troops that sell a minimum of 50 packages of Virtual Cookie Share March 16-March 22 will also receive an exclusive “Going the Extra Mile” patch.
- No action is required! The GSOC Product Program team will automatically track and enter all qualifying troops.

Girl Scouts must attend the scheduled experience date to receive any associated items. If they cannot attend, they should select the alternate reward option at that level.
