With your support, Girl Scouts were able to participate in Cookie Booths to help them connect with local customers in the community while working towards their goals. Thank you for all that you do!

Closing Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinator Reminders:

  • As a thank you, close the program by thanking the businesses that allow your Service Unit to have a Cookie Booth. Handmade Thank You cards from Girl Scouts make great gestures!

Booth Sale Lotteries
A Booth Sale Lottery is the perfect time to inform and remind the troops in your Service Unit about important Cookie Booth related subjects. Here are some reminders:
● Only Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinators or their representatives can choose and assign booth sale locations for troops.
● Any adult participating in Cookie Booth Sales must complete the Adult Booth Sale Training that will go live on the GSCookiesetc.org/cookie site. This will be available prior to the Cookie Booth sale period starting February 7.
● It’s important for Cookie Booth participants to include set up and break down time into their time slot.
● Cookie Booth participants are required to follow the guidelines. This includes being clean, disposing of trash responsibly and respectfully
● Troops must maintain a clean space at their Cookie Booth location, failure to do so risks Girl Scouts having a Cookie Booth at the location in the future. Being clean includes disposing of trash exactly how the business would like trash to be thrown out in a way that does not disrupt the operation of the business or the customers.
● If a booth sale needs to be cancelled, it must be cancelled as soon as possible and preferably at least 48 hours prior in the ABC Smart Cookie system. This allows other troops and Girl Scouts the opportunity of attending a booth.

Cookie News 2/12/25

Thank you so much for volunteering as a Service Unit Booth Coordinator.

Cookie Booths started February 7, 2025 and are going on until the end of the program on March 16, 2025.

During the Cookie Booth period, make sure that troops in your Service Unit know to contact you if they have any questions about booths or booth locations. The best way to share your information is by adding your preferred method of communication (phone, text, or email) in the Booth Notes of the booth location in ABC Smart Cookies. This will help troops know who to contact if they happen to have questions.

Here are some upcoming things to remember:

  • Continue to secure booth sale locations
    • Sometimes, store managers need to see booths at other stores during the Cookie Program to remind them that they can have a booth too!
  • Remind troops they must go to you, the Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinator for any new booth location. This includes but not limited to retail establishments, parents who own their own business, sporting events, at schools and churches, parks, drive thru booths, and more. All booths should be in ABC Smart Cookies, this is for the safety of everyone.
  • Submit updated Booth Sale Spreadsheets to cookies@girlscoutsoc.org each time a new booth sale location is secured.
  • Remind troops to follow the Booth Sale Guidelines as well as the Girl Scout Promise and Law when conducting booth sales.
