Troop Consignment is here!

Hey Troop Cookie Coordinators! Good news, Girl Scouts of Orange County is allowing troops to pick up more Girl Scout Cookies on consignment!  

What does this mean?
Troops can place orders of more cookies with the cupboard to sell, and return unsold cookies picked up on consignment to the cupboard. This is a great opportunity to have all the variety that you need, with no risk for the troop

Things to note:

  • Some cookie varieties may be out of stock.  Cupboards will do their best to fulfill consignment orders with the inventory they have available. 
  • Please be aware that any consignment orders or returns need to all be done within the same cupboard for that troop. 
  • Troops that received the Fall Program Consignment Bonus and already have consignment orders must continue with their current process – meaning they cannot combine or place a new consignment order at a different cupboard.

How does this work?
Check out the Consignment Process, Troops will need to follow these guidelines to place a planned consignment order with a cupboard of their choice. A consignment receipt must be printed and brought to the cupboard of your choice. Click here for the receipt. Please be aware that any consignment orders or returns need to all be done within the same cupboard for that troop.

By following the simple steps outlined in the Consignment Process and staying mindful of the guidelines, troops can maximize their efforts and work toward their goals. If you haven’t already, be sure to place your consignment orders and take full advantage of this opportunity!

Mystery House 2025 – Weekly Clues

It might seem now that the clues are too few, but as the season progresses, we’ll reveal more to you! Keep visiting customers door-to-door, a Mystery House you might find, earn a patch if you are the first and a certificate that is signed!

Starting February 28, visit this page on Fridays for more clues!

The last week to visit Mystery Houses is here! Girl Scouts can review 3 weeks of clues to find a Mystery House in their Service Unit. The last day to visit Mystery House is the last day customers can order Girl Scout Cookies on March 16, 2025.

Troop Golden Ticket Reward!

Your troop has the chance to find a Golden Ticket for an exciting Troop reward. Keep reading to learn how!

We’ve placed “Golden Tickets” in several cookie cases that can be found by placing a Planned Order at any of the Cookie Cupboards.  If you find one of these Golden Tickets in a case of Cookies your troop will win a Troop reward! 

Your troop could win a reward such as Troop Cookie Dough, a private Troop experience with the GSOC Art Manager, a Troop Movie Night, Campfire and S’mores experience or access to the Shops brand new heat press!

This promotion will end March 16, 2025 when the Cookie Program has concluded.

Mystery House is coming!

There is at least ONE secret Mystery House in nearly every Service Unit. Each Girl Scout to stop by a Mystery House location and/or leave a cookie door hanger will receive a certificate and a special patch!

Here’s how it works:

  • First, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram @girlscoutsoc for clues
  • There are several Mystery House locations throughout Orange County.
  • Each Girl Scout to leave a door hanger or visit a Mystery House in person location will receive a certificate and patch!
  • Girls should leave a door hanger with the girl’s first name, Troop # and contact information for an adult leader or parent/guardian.
  • Hosts will provide GSOC with the information for each Girl Scout who has left a door hanger or visited in person. GSOC will mail the patch & certificate directly to each Girl Scout.
  • Girls should not ask customers if they are a Mystery House. Girls must follow all Girl Scout safety rules and should not enter homes.

Every donation helps bring a smile to someone in our community, and it’s a great way to reach your cookie goals. New for this year, in addition to the U.S. Military and local food banks, we will be distributing cookie share to firefighters and first responders who helped with the recent wildfire efforts in Los Angeles. Simply post the flyer at your booth sale and keep track of donations with the donation tracker by filling in 1 segment for each dollar collected.

Don’t forget to let your Troop Cookie Coordinator know how many packages you have sold so they can allocate the virtual cookie share in ABC Smart Cookies.

We know that Girl Scouts have STELLAR SKILLS when it comes to: Goal Setting, Decision Making, People Skills, Business Ethics and Money Management!
Tell us about your STELLAR SKILL by entering the STELLAR SKILLS Cookie Program contest!

FIVE girls, one for each of the 5-skills, will be chosen for the STELLAR way each shows how the Girl Scout Cookie Program helped develop her business skill!

What is the Prize?
The five winning Stellar Skills Girl Scouts and their families will be invited to attend the Cookie All Star Celebration award ceremony in May, will receive special recognition for their Stellar Skills, and be awarded with a custom patch and certificate commemorating their STELLAR SKILL!

Who can participate?
First time sellers and veteran cookie pros alike can share their Stellar Skills! All registered Girl Scout cookie sellers can participate in the STELLAR SKILLS contest. Submissions of Stellar Skills stories are encouraged from girls, their family members, volunteers and staff.
