How to enter your Troop’s Initial Order
Troops placing an Initial Order can enter their orders in ABC Smart Cookies. It’s important to note that Initial orders are entered by case (12 pacages if cookies = 1 case). Instructions for this process are in your Troop Plan Book on page 14. You can also find instructions on how to print your Initial Order report which is great to keep on hand for distribution.

Troops that meet the Initial Order Bonus requirements have the opportunity to earn proceeds, a newly designed GSOC shirt with the choice of 2 Supermix brand patches, access to Case Exchange Day, and even 24 early access to the ABC Smart Cookie Booth Scheduler.

Have questions about the Troop Initial Order?
Reach out to your Service Unit Cookie Manager (SUCM).

What happens if your Troop doesn’t place an Initial Order?
If your troop does not submit an Initial Order, you will still be able to pick up cookies from a Cookie Cupboard beginning January 29, 2026. Please note that cupboards restock based on availability, so specific varieties or quantities may not be guaranteed.  Submitting an Initial Order ensures your troop starts the first and often busiest week of selling fully stocked and ready to go!

The Initial Order period is over now, thank you to the Troops who placed an Initial Order by the cutoff time.

Didn’t place an Initial Order? Don’t worry, your troop can place a “Planned Order” with a local Cookie Cupboard near them. Check out pages 20-23 in the Troop Plan Book to learn more on how to place Planned Orders.

VIP
For Troops that placed and Initial Order of 250 or more cookie cases and are attending the GSOC Mega Delivery event, get ready! These troops will have the opportunity to be invited to pickup their cases prior to the event.

The GSOC Product Program team will contact troops who have earned this via email with more information in the new year.
