Cookie News updates will begin prior to the Cookie Program and continue during and after the program.

Service Unit Distributor Mega Training – Service Units attending GSOC Council Mega distribution on 01/24/26
● Service Unit Distributor Own Training – Service Units having their own Service Unit Mega distribution event. 

For Service Unit’s Own Delivery:  Secure location & create a rain plan. Request Certificate of Insurance or Additional Insurance for non-members using the Online Facility and Insurance Requests form, if required. Ensure Delivery Station has been updated in ABC Smart Cookies. 

 Mega Delivery Responsibilities  

Mega Delivery – Wild Rivers | Saturday, Jan 24
1 driver (must be a Troop Helper)
And 2–3 adult volunteers for walking, counting, and loading in addition to the driver. Participating volunteers should not be a Girl Scout or child under the age of 18 .

Thank you for taking on the role of Service Unit Cookie Distributor! Your support is essential and plays a major part in ensuring a smooth and successful cookie delivery for your entire Service Unit. 

To prepare for the role, please be sure to complete the required training in gsLearn. We encourage you to take notes during the training, as there are several important guidelines and procedures to understand. As the distributor, you are responsible for helping your Service Unit and troop volunteers stay informed and follow the distribution guidelines that will set everyone up for success.

Thank you for serving as our Service Unit Cookie Distributor! Your role is incredibly important in keeping cookie distribution running smoothly for everyone in your Service Unit. 

As you prepare for distribution, please remember to complete the required gsLearn training. There is a training course for those attending the GSOC Mega Distribution as well as a course for those Service Units doing their own distribution. 

Taking a few notes during the training can be very helpful. There are key procedures and reminders you’ll want to reference later. In this position, you’ll help make sure your Service Unit and troop volunteers stay informed and follow the distribution guidelines that lead to a successful cookie season.
