Welcome to the 2026 Cookie Program! As a Booth Sale Coordinator, you have a very important role in ensuring girls and troops have a successful Cookie Program experience. Here are some upcoming dates to remember:

As we gear up for cookie season, here are a few key dates to help keep everything running smoothly. Submit your Service Unit Booth Sale Plan by November 20 at 11:59 PM, then continue securing booth locations from December 5–January 17. If you run into any denied locations, please let us know through the Booth Sale Denials and Other Information Form. Be sure to conduct your Service Unit Booth Sale Lottery by January 13 and track all confirmed booth sites in the Booth Sale Spreadsheet.

Guess who’s back?
Partnerships with Wendy’s and Goodwill are continuing through GSUSA’s existing agreements.  

At this time, each Goodwill and Wendy’s location is opting in individually. As soon as we receive the confirmed locations for our Council, we’ll notify the appropriate Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinator.

Service Units who missed the due date are encouraged to still submit their SU Booth Plans to customercare@girlscoutsoc.org with their Volunteer Manager cced in the email.

ABC Smart Cookies Access – Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinators who hold the role and have completed their training will receive access to ABC Smart Cookies by Thursday, December 11, 2025. 

Walmart Update – The GSUSA team is currently solidifying their contract with Walmart and Sams Club. Once we have more information on boothing with Walmart and Sams Club we will reach out to Service Unit Booth Coordinators. 

 Stater Bros. Update – There has been a slight delay on receiving the Stater Brothers approval letter for Cookie Booths in Orange County. Our team will be working with our contact to retrieve the letter as soon as possible.

Continue securing booth locations starting December 5–January 17. After January, you can continue to look for new opportunities for your Service Unit. Make sure to check out your Community calendars and city wide events that will allow a space for girls to promote their Cookie business. 

Updates 

 Walmart Update – The agreement between GSUSA and Walmart has concluded. Our Council team will request reservations as soon as we are able to in the system. Review the confirmed 2026 and 2027 black out dates for Walmart (and Sams Club). Service Units will be contacted via email once Council is notified of location approvals and denials.  

      • Walmart Reminder: All Walmart locations must be reserved through the Space Reservation System. The 2026-2027 Blackout Dates and the Campaign agreement related to the 14-day limit with no more than 3 consecutive dates remains in effect. 

 Stater Bros. Update – Stater Bros. Company has approved booth dates for Orange County locations from February 6, 2026- March 31, 2026. The Stater Bros. Team has confirmed we will receive the approval letter by the end of December. When the letter is received, we will reach out to Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinators and post the letter on GSCookiesetc.org. 

 Wendy’s Update – GSOC will reach out to Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinators who will have a Wendy’s location in their Service Unit.

 When should you have your Service Unit’s Lottery?
Your Service Unit Booth Sale Lottery should be held by January 13. Make sure to record all confirmed booth sites in the Booth Sale Spreadsheet. 

 How can I find new booth locations? 
Reach out to your Service Unit and ask your team about new businesses they have seen open in their area. Any Entrepreneurs in your Service Unit that have a business? Ask them if you can have a Cookie Booth at the location. The possibilities are endless! 

 What are easy ways to help Girl Scouts meet their goals?
 Prepare the troops attending the booth sites in your Service Units. Let them know how many cases to take to a booth to ensure they sell as much as they can during their booth period.  

      • Super Booths are a great way to help girls reach their goal. These troops are able to check out cookies on consignment. Consignment is not guaranteed every Cookie Program but a Super Booth means no risk on taking cases out during the last weekend of the Cookie Program.
