Only Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinators may arrange for booth sale locations and assign troops. They secure the sites by working with the property managers and stores to ensure permissions and insurance requirements are met.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8551\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8551\" aria-controls=\"collapse8551\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Can I bring another Girl Scout with me to our parent\/daughter booth sale?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse8551\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-855\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-8551\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Unfortunately, no; anything beyond parent and Girl Scout daughters at a booth sale is a troop activity and must meet safety guidelines requiring at least two screened and trained Girl Scout Troop Helper Adults.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8552\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8552\" aria-controls=\"collapse8552\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Can I have a booth sale on a street corner?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse8552\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-855\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-8552\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Yes, but only if the location is\u00a0<strong>safe<\/strong>\u00a0for girls and customer vehicles and if the Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinator has verified that the city will allow this.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8553\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8553\" aria-controls=\"collapse8553\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Can parent\/daughter teams run a booth sale at a shopping center?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse8553\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-855\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-8553\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Yes!\u00a0Parent\/daughter teams may run a booth sale for their troop provided it is reserved by the Troop\u00a0Cookie Coordinator through the Service Unit Booth Sale Coordinator. Allow for time between shifts for rest and meal breaks. Parents must complete online Adult Booth Sale training\u00a0and receive specific booth sale site information from their Troop Cookie Coordinator before assisting their daughter with booth sales. The Troop\u00a0Cookie Coordinator and parent must determine in advance if products being sold are to be additional girl sales, where the family is responsible for all product taken, or troop booth sale units, which can be returned to the troop. If products sold are troop booth sale units, parent must\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gsmembers.force.com\/members\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register as Girl Scout adult Troop Helpers<\/a><\/strong>. Permission slips are required for parent\/girl and troop booth sales. Permission slips are required for all girls participating in any activity. The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.girlscoutsoc.org\/content\/dam\/girlscoutsoc\/documents\/Program\/Guide_to_the_Annual_Permission_Slip.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annual Permission &amp; Health History form<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will suffice so long as the booth sale meets the requirements provided on the permission slip.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8555\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8555\" aria-controls=\"collapse8555\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Does my daughter get credit for cookies sold at booth sales?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse8555\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-855\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-8555\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>Yes!\u00a0Review your Family Guide and Rewards Flyer to see what level rewards your daughter has achieved.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8556\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8556\" aria-controls=\"collapse8556\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> May we have a donation jar at our booth sale?<\/a><\/h3><div class=\"sp-collapse spcollapse spcollapse\" id=\"collapse8556\" data-parent=\"#sp-ea-855\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"ea-header-8556\"> <div class=\"ea-body\"><p>No. Girls\/Troops may not have donation jars at booth sales because we only have permits to sell cookies, not to solicit donations.\u00a0However, a \u201cCookie Share\u201d jar that is collecting $5 from each customer and then providing a Cookie Share receipt is fine.\u00a0For safety, a Cookie Share jar should not contain cash, but a symbolic item, such as a toy soldier or a donation card, for each purchase.\u00a0If a customer says \u201ckeep the change\u201d girls may accept it, but they should\u00a0<u>never<\/u>\u00a0solicit monetary donations.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"ea-card sp-ea-single\"><h3 class=\"ea-header\"><a class=\"collapsed\" id=\"ea-header-8557\" role=\"button\" data-sptoggle=\"spcollapse\" data-sptarget=\"#collapse8557\" aria-controls=\"collapse8557\" href=\"#\" aria-expanded=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" role=\"presentation\" class=\"ea-expand-icon eap-icon-ea-expand-plus\"><\/i> Our Service Unit doesn\u2019t have any booth sale locations remaining.
