Girl Deliveries and Troop Proceeds

Girl Deliveries
Starting November 5-15, Girl Scouts should begin to deliver Fall Program product to their Customers.

Troop Proceeds
Beginning November 7, council will deposit proceeds earned by troops directly into the troop bank account through an ACH deposit using the banking information on the Troop Bank Form submitted by the troop. Troops with no Troop Bank form submitted will not receive proceeds until the form is submitted. All Troops must submit a new Troop Bank Form every year. See Policies and Standards or Troop Financial Guidelines on girlscoutsoc.org for more information.

Girl Scout Tin With Mint Trefoil Announcement

Due to the popularity of our Mint Trefoils in the Girl Scout tin and robust orders this season, our nut and candy vendor (Trophy) just informed us that they will be substituting the 2021 Girl Scout tin for this year’s version for all Direct Ship sales. This was decided to preserve this year’s Girl Scout tin for girl delivered orders.  In addition, Mint Trefoils will also be offered in a gable box (no tin).

There will be a short transition period on the M2OS site from noon on Friday, October 7 until Friday, October 14th as this change is made, and it is possible that Mint Trefoils may not be available in the Girl Scout tin during this time. We will continue to update you as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and for all you do to support our Girl Scout entrepreneurs!

GSOC Welcomes all Juliettes to the Fall Product Program!

Girl Scout Independents can embark on this unique entrepreneurial experience in just a few short steps! Throughout the Fall Product Program, girls of all ages build self-confidence and develop valuable skills–such as goal setting, money management, and business ethics–while earning badges, patches, and prizes along the way. Juliettes will also earn Juliette Dollars which can be used to fund their Girl Scout activities. Fall Mascot Winning Name

Thank you to everyone for participating in the contest and submitting such creative names for the Hawaiian Monk Seal. This year our mascot’s name is Ola! (Pronounced oh-lah) Ola is named after Ke Kai Ola, which translates to “the healing sea” and is the name of the only hospital in Hawaii dedicated to helping the critically endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. Ke Kai Ola is operated by the Marine Mammal Center.

Please visit the Marine Mammal Center’s website to learn more about the Hawaiian Monk Seal and how to take action.

Congratulations to Hailey P, a Daisy from troop 1378 on winning the Giant Stuffed Seal! Hailey said she learned a lot about the Hawaiian Monk Seal and how they are endangered. Her advice to take action is that we all do not put trash in the ocean, recycle and to contact the hospital Ke Kai Ola if you see a Hawaiian Monk Seal that needs help. Great advice Hailey!

Fall Product Program Is Here!

The Fall Product Program provides girls with life skills like goal setting and money management. Help your Girl Scout participate through meaningful activities where she will gain confidence, earn patches and prizes, plus give back through the Care to Share service project. Check out the Resources and Forms page for more information about the Fall Product Program.

Prior to the Program starting, Girls will receive an email on September 18, 2022 through M2OS. If the Girl has not received an email they can contact their Troop Product Coordinator to be added to M2OS. For more information, they can go to our “Helpful Links” side bar on the GSCookiesetc.org website.

On September 18, 2022, parents will receive a Girl Launch Email with a link to M2OS where girls can set up their site to sell Fall Product, send emails to their customers, and even design their own custom patch!

Make sure to check back for more updates and information. We look forward to the Fall 2022 Program year!
