Troop End of Sale Processing

The 2021 Fall Product Program has ended! Please see below for some Troop End of Sale Processing reminders: (Troop Plan Book page 16)

  • Record girl final payments into M2OS.
  • Make final deposits into TROOP bank account.
  • Make final entries for nut sales, booth sales, and Care to Share in M2OS.
  • Make sure all units from the Troop Cupboard have been allocated to girls.
  • Verify girl rewards and include any adjustments in the body of your email to the Service Unit.
  • Complete the Fall Product Program Evaluation (coming soon).

Troop final reports and emails are due to Service Unit Product Managers on November 17 at 9am (make sure to cc the Troop Treasurer and Leaders). Please include the following in your emails:

  • “Processing Complete” OR “Unresolved Issue” in the subject of your email.
  • All details of any pending problems in the body of the email and attach documentation (signed receipts).
  • Note if your troop submitted a parent Delinquency Report, Counterfeit Bill Report, or asked for a Payment Adjustment.

Troop’s payment will be delayed until issue has been resolved.

Online Magazine and Direct Ship Nut Sales Extended!

Due to popular demand, we have extended the online magazine and direct ship nut sales through November 1, 2021.  Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the online girl delivery option as our nut products are already in transit.  Girls can continue to send emails to family and friends asking them for support in reaching the Fall Product goals!

And the news keeps getting better!  Girls will receive credit towards rewards for every online sale they received through November 1, 2021.  Girls will have until November 2, 2021 to make their reward choices in M2OS.

Fall Product Program Is Almost Here!

The Fall Product Program provides girls with life skills like goal setting and money management. Help your Girl Scout participate through meaningful activities where she will gain confidence, earn patches and prizes, plus give back through the Care to Share service project.

On September 25, 2021, parents will receive a Girl Launch Email with a link to M2OS  (Online Fall Product Program) where girls can set-up their site, send emails, and even design their own custom patch! Make sure to check back for more updates and information!

5 Steps for TPC Appointment

Interested in becoming a Troop Product Coordinator (TPC)? To be appointed a TPC by your Service Unit Product Manager, you must complete the following 5 steps:

  1. Complete your registration for the 2021-2022 Girl Scout Membership year.
  2. Select your role in MyGS as the Troop Product Coordinator for your troop and complete online background screening as necessary (once every 3 years).
  3. Ensure Troop has submitted online Troop Banking Form with voided troop check attached (every troop must resubmit this form every year beginning August 1).
  4. Complete online orientation if this is your first time volunteering for Girl Scouts.
  5. Complete Troop Product Coordinator training online annually. See your Service Unit Product Manager for training materials or email CustomerCare@GirlScoutsOC.org.

All steps must be completed by November 1, 2021 for troops to earn proceeds!

  1. Support troop volunteers by ensuring all Service Unit Fall Product Team positions are filled and all required training is completed by the deadlines.
  2. Troop Participation Bonus for the 2021 Fall Product Program.

Order Your 2022 Gluten Free Cookies NOW!

Troops interested in selling Gluten Free Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies must place their order by October 13, 2021 using this link. These cookies will not be available to order after this date or stocked in cupboards.

How Does the Pre-order Work?

  • Your order is applied towards Initial Order total cases for the bonus.
  • Your gluten free cookies will be distributed in January with troop initial cookie order.
  • Gluten free cookies will be sold for $6 (all other varieties will remain $5).
  • Gluten free cookies will be tracked in cookie program software like all other varieties.
  • Troop must place their order by October 13, 2021.
  • Your order of gluten free cookies will be included in the first troop payment in February.
  • Troops earn the same proceeds per package and credit towards girl rewards as other varieties

Troops must meet the following criteria in order to participate in the gluten free pre-order:

  1. Leaders and girls registered for the 2021-2022 membership year.
  2.  New Troop Troop Banking Form  file beginning August 1, 2021.

Name the 2021 Fall Product Mascot Contest!

Each year, Girl Scouts has a special mascot for our product programs and this year’s Fall Product Mascot is an Emperor Penguin! Girl Scouts are invited to help us come up with a name for our Fall Product friend. Submit your best idea and you could WIN the Giant Penguin photographed below to keep as your very own.

ENTRY FORM

Limit one entry per household. Winning name and winner of the Giant Penguin will be announced at the September 18th Fall Kick Off. Contest ends on September 5, 2021.

Fall Product Dates to Remember

  • September 25: Fall Product Program begins! Order taking begins. Girls can start sending emails via M2OS.
  • October 15: Nut order due. Enter order into M2OS or email to Troop Product Coordinator to enter.
  • October 17: Fall Product Program preorders end. Last day customers can order magazines or nuts/candy.
  • November 5-7: Product delivery/pick-up. Troop Product Coordinator will share product pick-up date and time with troop.
  • November 6-12: Girl deliveries begin. Collect payment for nuts as sales are made and turn in money to Troop Product Coordinator promptly and frequently.
  • November 12: PAYMENT IS DUE! Submit money collected for nut order card sales to Troop Product Coordinator.
  • December: Rewards begin shipping. Your Troop Product Coordinator will distribute to girls when rewards arrive.
