Girl Scout Tin With Mint Trefoil Announcement

Due to the popularity of our Mint Trefoils in the Girl Scout tin and robust orders this season, our nut and candy vendor (Trophy) just informed us that they will be substituting the 2021 Girl Scout tin for this year’s version for all Direct Ship sales. This was decided to preserve this year’s Girl Scout tin for girl delivered orders.  In addition, Mint Trefoils will also be offered in a gable box (no tin).

There will be a short transition period on the M2OS site from noon on Friday, October 7 until Friday, October 14th as this change is made, and it is possible that Mint Trefoils may not be available in the Girl Scout tin during this time. We will continue to update you as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and for all you do to support our Girl Scout entrepreneurs!

Fall Mascot Winning Name

Thank you to everyone for participating in the contest and submitting such creative names for the Hawaiian Monk Seal. This year our mascot’s name is Ola! (Pronounced oh-lah) Ola is named after Ke Kai Ola, which translates to “the healing sea” and is the name of the only hospital in Hawaii dedicated to helping the critically endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal. Ke Kai Ola is operated by the Marine Mammal Center.

Congratulations to Hailey P, a Daisy from troop 1378 on winning the Giant Stuffed Seal! Hailey said she learned a lot about the Hawaiian Monk Seal and how they are endangered. Her advice to take action is that we all do not put trash in the ocean, recycle and to contact the hospital Ke Kai Ola if you see a Hawaiian Monk Seal that needs help. Great advice Hailey!


Join Us at the 2022 Fall Kickoff This Saturday!

It’s time to Kickoff our new Girl Scout year at GSOC Headquarters!

We are welcoming a limited amount of walk-ins who would like to join us during the Fall Kickoff this Saturday. Entry for walk-ins will be $10.00 per Girl Scout for those who may have missed the Registration prior to the event.

Girls can travel to activity booths to get their “passport” stamped and earn a fun patch! Sample our fall products, learn about the new Girl Scout cookie and participate in fall product rally activities. Exhibitor Showcase will provide adults with information about troop and Juliette opportunities provided by our program partners. Participate in a service project and find out about our new badges, highest awards, travel and more. See our new Girl Scout uniform and visit our Girl Scout Shop.

Our Fall Kick Off event will start Saturday September 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM. The event will be outdoors and parking will be located off site near our Headquarters.

It’s Almost time for the Online 2022 Fall Product Program!

This year it is easier than ever to participate in the Fall Product Program!  All girls participate online through digital sales. Girls may send emails inviting friends and family to order products online.  Customers will have two options to purchase products through the email they receive.

  • Direct Ship Option:  Customers can choose the Direct Ship option where they will have the ability to purchase from a full assortment of Girl Scout products or magazines, and pay with a credit card.  These items will be directly sent to the customer, with no money to collect or product to deliver.  Shipping and handling fees will apply.  Girls can also share their storefront with direct ship only on social media with adult supervision.
  • Online Girl Delivered Option: Girls can choose to offer an online girl delivered option to customers in the local area where the customer pays for nuts online with a credit card and then the girl delivers the online girl delivered order.  All sales and payments are automatically reported in M2OS.  With this option, customers can select from the 16 nut and candy items listed on page 5 of the Family Guide.

There is no financial risk to troops or families as there is no money to collect or leftover product to handle!

2022 Fall Product Program Mascot

This year our Fall Product Mascot is a Hawaiian Monk Seal! These seals are found on the main and Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. They live in warm subtropical waters and spend two-thirds of their time at sea.

Every year, Girl Scouts have the exciting opportunity to name our Program mascot. To celebrate our new mascot, all Girl Scouts are invited to submit their best ideas for naming our Fall Product friend!

Submit your best idea and you could WIN a GIANT Seal plush!

Contest ends on September 6, 2022. Limit one entry per household. Winning name and winner of the Giant Seal will be announced at the September 17th Fall Kick Off.
